Welcome to the “Mother Lode” section of the cave. In these surroundings you will find an assortment of  “not so common”, “rare” and “undiscovered” recordings from the past half century. They are all legal factory pressings .No "boots". There are many rare Detroit labels       in this section of the cave. Some are records I have contributed to the Osborne price guide over the years. This is an early auction preview,so only early “E” mail offers (over the minimum bid)      will be considered at this time. If I accept an early offer on any items on this list before       January 1 ,2003,those items will be pulled at once. This auction will begin on January 1,2003    and will close on April 1 , 2003 at 10:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Picture Sleeve,EP,LP grading ; record first, than sleeve!

                                                               Record grades:

                 M     Mint  ------------  Clean as a whistle

M-        Mint Minus ------ A few light scratches here and there

VG    Very Good --- Some popping and surface noise, scratching in places , but still a pretty good copy

G       Good ---------- This record doesn’t skip, has surface popping, and ,or noise, but will fill the collection until a better copy comes along.

Concerning the above grades: I  grade conservatively. Records I sell are in good to mint condition. Always remember that "good" does not mean bad !! A record in good condition means that it has given it's owner many hours of listening pleasure. But these vinyl treasures are not like fine wine ! Their condition does not improve with age ! They are more akin to a pair of your favorite walking shoes. They may have lost some of their polish , and they may look a little rough around the edges , but when you put them on , they make you feel pretty darn good. So too with a record in good condition. They may have  label imperfections and some pops and scratches here and there , but nothing that distracts too significantly from ones listening enjoyment.

Make your selections from the following list , then “E” mail me at reo1243@aol.com , or  call me at 734-425-4931 ; and, if you prefer, write me at Roys Record Cave , P.O.Box 510840,  Livonia MI, 48151-6840 . All payments via U.S check, cash, money order.
